Workshops and off-sites that change how your team works together.

A facilitated session built on your team's own Everything DiSC® or Insights Discovery® profiles, not a generic agenda. One day done well gives a team a shared language for how it communicates, decides and deals with friction.

Sound Familiar?

Every team's dynamic is its own. The friction looks the same.

The reasons teams get in touch are consistent: three versions of the same problem.

For Teams

Collaboration that's harder than it should be

Miscommunication, unresolved tension and clashing working styles. Everyone is competent. It's the work between people that drags.

For Leadership Teams

Alignment that stops at the meeting-room door

Trust that hasn't been built, ways of working that were never agreed, and no shared language for how this group leads together.

For HR & Talent Leaders

A session that has to be more than a nice day out

You need an experienced facilitator who brings the right tool (Everything DiSC, Insights Discovery or The Five Behaviours®) and designs the day around the team. The session has to hold up in front of a sceptical leadership group.

A facilitated session won't resolve everything in a day. What it does is more useful: it puts the real conversation in the room and gives the team a shared language to keep having it.

The Options

A half-day, a full day, or a custom build.

Sessions usually take one of three shapes. Each starts with real profiles and a designed agenda. After the scoping call you get a clear proposal with options to choose between.

Option 1 · Half Day

DiSC or Insights Team Workshop

For one team that wants communication, collaboration and trust to improve. It suits leadership groups too: many half-day off-sites are exactly this session, run away from the office.

  • An Everything DiSC® or Insights Discovery® profile for every person, completed before the day
  • The team map: where styles cluster, and where the friction starts
  • Working-style differences talked about openly, in plain terms
  • Working agreements the team writes itself, in its own words
Half day On-site, virtual or off-site venue From €3,000 all-in (excl. VAT)
Scope a workshop →
Option 2 · Full Day

The Five Behaviours® Off-Site

For a leadership group or intact team going deeper. Wiley's programme built on Patrick Lencioni's model: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, results.

  • A team assessment measuring all five before the day
  • Starts with trust, because everything else stands on it
  • Trust, decision habits and ways of working, worked on directly rather than talked around
  • Closes with agreements, or a team charter the group signs
Full day At your chosen venue €7,500 all-in (excl. VAT)
Scope an off-site →
Option 3 · Custom

A session built from scratch

For goals that don't fit a template: a new leader landing, teams merging, or a specific piece of work the group needs to get through together.

  • DiSC Workplace on Catalyst™ or Insights Discovery personal profiles as the base
  • An agenda built from the scoping call, not from a template
  • A single session or a short series, whatever the goal needs
  • Materials built for the team to keep using after the day
Any format Designed around your team From €3,000 all-in (excl. VAT)
Scope a custom session →

Honest advice comes first: if a half-day will do the job, I won't propose a full day.

How It Works

Five steps from first call to follow-through.

A structured path designed so the day's language survives the room.

1

Scoping call

Thirty minutes on what's going on and what should be different after the session.

2

Design

Format, tool and agenda chosen for your team, with honest advice if a workshop isn't the right move.

3

Profiles

Everyone completes their assessment online before the day, so the session starts from real data.

4

The session

Facilitated and interactive, built on the team's own results, not a slide deck about teams in general.

5

Follow-through

Working agreements, practical next steps and options to go deeper once the language takes hold.

Format is flexible: on-site anywhere in Ireland, or virtual across Irish, UK and US time zones.

From the Room

What it's like when the day lands.

A leadership session, an Insights workshop and a DiSC workshop, in the clients' own words.

David's session on building high-performing teams inside 3SIXTY Leaders Club was nothing short of exceptional. His depth of knowledge, engaging approach, and ability to create a safe, open space for discussion made a huge impact on our members. The fact that so many women felt comfortable asking questions and diving into real challenges is a testament to his expertise and facilitation style.

Lucy Gernon CEO + Founder, 3SIXTY Leaders Club

I was looking for a good Insights Facilitator for a number of months and was delighted to have found David and the fact he was local to us was even better. Was a great presenter and the team got great value for our time with him. Great day sharing our experiences with the colours etc and David guided the workshop at the right pace and examples. Would recommend and we will be using David again.

Dave Sherman GM, Direct Medical - Vivisol Ireland

The DiSC workshop gave us a shared language to talk about our different working and communication styles. It made it easier to appreciate each other's perspectives and approach conversations with greater awareness and intention—something that's especially important in the high-pressure, fast-paced hospitality environment in which we work.

David O'Grady, executive and team coach in Ireland, helps new teams form faster.

I learned facilitation where the stakes were real: as the HR leader inside the room, not a consultant outside it. At 3M I took Insights Discovery from sporadic use to an enterprise operating model. At HubSpot I did the same with Everything DiSC. I built the licence, facilitation and integration models for tools the business already owned, before becoming a partner myself. I've sat on your side of the table, so every session is designed for what happens after it ends.

I run the only practice in Ireland partnered in both Everything DiSC® and Insights Discovery®, so the advice on which tool fits your team is honest, and one facilitator can deliver whichever you choose.

Where Next

Two places the work goes next.

Make It Stick

From one workshop to integration

The strongest partnerships start with a single session that lands. When the team keeps using the language, the next step is integration: profiles in onboarding, leadership programmes and everyday conversations, with your own people equipped to carry it.

Common Questions

What you need to know.

What happens in a facilitated team workshop?

Each person completes an Everything DiSC® or Insights Discovery® assessment before the day. The session then works through the team's own results: where styles cluster, where communication friction comes from, and what that explains about how the team works. It closes with working agreements the team writes itself. The format is interactive throughout: real conversations about real dynamics, not a lecture.

What is the difference between a team workshop and a leadership off-site?

A team workshop is a focused half-day for one team, usually centred on communication, collaboration and ways of working. A leadership off-site runs deeper: a full day away from the day-to-day where a leadership group works on trust, decision-making habits and how it leads together, often with The Five Behaviours® assessment as the spine. The line between the two is soft: many half-day off-sites are exactly the team workshop, run at an off-site venue. What you want to be different afterwards decides the format, and that is what the scoping call settles.

Is this team coaching?

It covers what most organisations mean when they search for team coaching: a facilitator working with an intact team on how it communicates, decides and handles friction, using each person's own profile. The difference is format. These are designed half-day or full-day facilitated sessions with clear follow-through, rather than an open-ended series of team coaching sessions across a year. If ongoing team coaching is the better fit for your team, I will say so on the scoping call and shape the proposal around it.

Which assessment will my team use: DiSC or Insights?

It depends on your team and what the session needs to do. Everything DiSC® measures observable behaviour and runs on the Catalyst™ platform with strong team follow-up tools. Insights Discovery® uses the four colour energies model and produces deeply personal, memorable profiles. As an authorised partner I have no stake in steering you either way. I also deliver The Five Behaviours®, CliftonStrengths® and Hogan assessments where they fit better. The DiSC vs Insights comparison page on this site walks through the differences, with a two-minute scorecard.

What is The Self-Aware Leader programme?

The Self-Aware Leader is a full-day Insights Discovery leadership programme: the natural follow-on once a leadership team has completed an Insights Discovery Foundations workshop. Each leader works from their own Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership Profile, a deeper, leadership-focused chapter beyond the Foundation profile, and explores how their colour energies show up in how they lead. The day is hands-on: the nine-foot Insights leadership floor mat puts the model on the floor and the leaders on the model. If your team has already done Insights together, ask about The Self-Aware Leader on the scoping call.

What is The Five Behaviours® team programme?

The Five Behaviours® is Wiley's team development programme, built on Patrick Lencioni's model: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability and results. The team completes an assessment that measures how it is doing on all five, and the session works through the results together, starting with trust, because everything else stands on it. The Five Behaviours® is the spine I recommend most often for leadership off-sites.

Where do sessions run, and do you facilitate virtually?

Both. I facilitate on-site anywhere in Ireland, at your office or your chosen off-site venue, and virtually across Irish, UK and US time zones. Workshops adapt well to virtual delivery. For off-sites I recommend in person where possible, because the informal time between sessions does real work too.

How much does a team workshop or off-site cost?

Half-day workshops run from €3,000 all-in (excl. VAT), including profiles. A Five Behaviours® full-day team retreat is €7,500 all-in (excl. VAT). The final figure depends on group size and which profiles the session uses. Every engagement gets a fixed, itemised proposal within two working days. No day-rate meters.
