The short version

Certification or accreditation — what’s the difference?

Honestly, not much. Wiley uses the word certification for Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviours. Insights uses accreditation for Insights Discovery. Both mean the same thing: you, or people on your team, qualify to deliver the tool inside your own organisation — running sessions, debriefing profiles and building the capability in-house instead of buying it in each time.

Get certified on the official cohort

You complete the official Wiley or Insights programme — virtual or in person — and earn the credential.

Deliver in-house, with my support

I stay alongside you before, during and after: planning your rollout, reviewing your first session, and supplying profiles at partner rates.

What you need to know

What is the difference between certification and accreditation?

Very little. Wiley uses the word certification for Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviours; Insights uses accreditation for Insights Discovery. Both mean the same thing: you, or people on your team, qualify to deliver the tool inside your own organisation rather than buying delivery in each time.

Do I need to be certified to use these tools?

No. As an authorised partner I can run Everything DiSC, Insights Discovery and Five Behaviours workshops for your teams without you certifying anyone. Certification or accreditation is the right step when you want the capability in-house, so your own people can deliver across the organisation.

Which programme should I choose?

Start with the outcome. Everything DiSC gives a practical everyday language for working styles on the Catalyst platform. Insights Discovery builds deep self-awareness through a four colour energy model that scales across an organisation. The Five Behaviours fixes how a single team works together: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability and results. On a short call I’ll point you to the right one, or tell you if certifying is not the answer yet.

Is the programme delivered virtually or in person?

Everything DiSC and Five Behaviours certifications run as live virtual Wiley cohorts year-round, across Irish, UK and US time zones. Insights Discovery accreditation is delivered by Insights face-to-face or virtually. I support you before, during and after, whichever format you choose.

What does certification cost?

Pricing depends on the programme and whether you certify one person or a team. Each programme page sets out the detail, and I’ll give you a clear quote on enquiry. Your main ongoing cost afterwards is profiles or credits at partner rates, so the more you deliver in-house, the better the economics.

What support do I get from David?

I support you in three stages: before, helping you choose the right programme and plan your internal rollout; during, coordinating enrolment and preparing you for the cohort; and after, reviewing your first sessions, supplying profiles at partner rates and staying on as a mentor as you build the capability.
