David O'Grady Coaching Ltd (David O'Grady Coaching Limited)

Last updated: 29 June 2026 — Version 1.0

This Cookie Policy explains how David O'Grady Coaching Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, www.davidogradycoaching.com (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

We use cookies in line with the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 336 of 2011), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the guidance issued by the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).

1. Who we are

David O'Grady Coaching Ltd is a company registered in Ireland (company number 781152), with its registered office at A21 Bastion Quay, Deerpark Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. We are the data controller responsible for the Website.

For any question about this Cookie Policy or your privacy, contact us at david@davidogradycoaching.com.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They let the website recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is being used.

We also use similar technologies that work in much the same way, including:

  • Local storage — data stored in your browser rather than in a cookie file.
  • Pixels, tags and web beacons — tiny pieces of code (often in pages or emails) that record activity such as whether a page or email was opened.

In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these technologies.

Cookies may be first-party (set by us or our website platform) or third-party (set by another organisation whose service we use, such as the security and content-delivery provider used by our website platform). They may also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

3. How we ask for your consent

When you first visit the Website, you will see a cookie consent banner. Through it:

  • Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically, because the Website cannot work properly without them. These do not require your consent.
  • All other cookies (analytics and functionality) are set only after you give your consent by choosing "Accept" or by switching on the relevant category. Nothing in these categories is set before you make a choice.

The banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting non-essential cookies is as easy as accepting them, and no categories are pre-ticked.

We do not treat continued use of the site, scrolling, or your browser settings as consent.

4. How to change or withdraw your consent

You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

  • Use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page on the Website to re-open the preference centre and turn any category on or off.
  • You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and tell you when one is being set. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Website from working. Browser-level control is a secondary option — the "Cookie Settings" link above is the primary way to manage your choices on this site.

Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies that were already used while your consent was in place.

We will ask you to confirm your cookie choices again no later than every 6 months, in line with the Data Protection Commission's guidance, so your consent stays current.

5. Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into three categories:

Category What it does Consent needed?
Strictly necessary Enable core functions such as page loading, security and remembering your cookie choices. The site cannot work properly without them. No — always on
Analytics Help us understand how visitors find and use the site (e.g. which pages are viewed) so we can improve it. Yes — only after you opt in
Functionality Support extra features such as keeping you to a consistent version of a page during testing and remembering preferences. Yes — only after you opt in

7. Third parties and international transfers

Some cookies are set by, or send data to, third-party providers:

  • HubSpot — our website, CRM, forms and analytics platform, provided by HubSpot, Inc. (United States). Where personal data is transferred to the US, HubSpot relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, as a further safeguard, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary measures.
  • Cloudflare — provides security and content-delivery services for the HubSpot platform and sets the __cf_bm cookie described above. Where personal data is transferred to the US, Cloudflare relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures.

For more on how we protect personal data, including international transfers, see our Privacy Policy. You may request a copy of the relevant transfer safeguards by contacting us.

8. A note for visitors in the United States

Where US state privacy laws apply (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA), we respect recognised browser opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where supported by our platform. We do not sell or "share" (as those terms are used in those laws) your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

9. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where the changes are significant, we will make this clear through the cookie banner or the Website.
